Check your content for duplication before submitting. www.articlechecker.com is a free duplicate check. Article Zone uses a paid subscription of www.CopyScape.com to check all content.
We CANNOT stress this enough: If your content is not unique then your articles will not be approved. All content is filtered through a set of checks system that isn’t fooled easily.
Please use proper grammar and punctuation. Make sure you spell check all documents with Microsoft word and make sure it is spaced properly. Go back over your document and proof read it. Be sure it makes sense when you read it. Separate the paragraphs.
Each article needs a Descriptive overview. You can usually get this by copying and pasting the text from the video's description.
Where do I get the videos you ask?
In short: You find them yourself. Due to a high volume of transcribers we can't go searching for relevant videos that will make for good articles. We entrust you to find a video with a professional speaker talking about interesting things. It will either be declined or approved. Just follow the guidelines and use common sense.
Here are some optional traits you can use while writing the transcript.
When writing an article please include in a separate document or separate part of the article
- Title (required) Use a descriptive title (leave the creativity to the subtitle field). Think of the words someone would use to find your content on the web, and use these in your title. Make sure to include the subject of your content!
- Descriptive Overview (required) (a sentence; 255 character max)
- Subtitle (optional) Use this field to enter supporting title information. Since the title field needs to be direct and discoverable, many choose to enter a catchy or creative subtitle.
- Content highlights (optional) List three key information or discussion points to focus the user. Think: What do I want the viewer to focus on? What should they learn from my content?
- Engaging or interesting fact (optional) Enter a related fact, interesting quote from your content, or humorous trivia.
Why take more time to put in these extra optional features? Were going to be placing some transcribers in a premium category which means we will soon pay closer to a dollar per short transcription.
