When writing an article please include in a separate document or separate part of the article
- Title (required) Use a descriptive title (leave the creativity to the subtitle field). Think of the words someone would use to find your content on the web, and use these in your title. Make sure to include the subject of your content!
- Descriptive Overview (required) (a sentence; 255 character max)
- Subtitle (optional)
Use this field to enter supporting title information. Since the
title field needs to be direct and discoverable, many choose to enter a
catchy or creative subtitle.
- Content highlights (optional) List three key information or discussion points to focus the user. Think: What do I want the viewer to focus on? What should they learn from my content?
- Engaging or interesting fact (optional) Enter a related fact, interesting quote from your content, or humorous trivia.
Content must exhibit correct grammar, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation and follow our formatting guidelines (see below).
Use a strong, descriptive headline with each submission. Think: What words or phrases would a web user enter to find the content via search? While a headline "The Best Day of My Life" might be true, "Getting Married in Fiji" would be a more discoverable headline. While we encourage you to promote yourself and your business or services, please no excessive self-promotion or brand promotion. We don't want to publish infomercials. Also, do not include an "about the author" or other promotional plugs that are unrelated to the content.
Content shall not be pornographic, obscene, defamatory, abusive, contain hate speech, encourage illegal or discriminatory conduct, or infringe on the rights of a third party. The forgoing is NOT an exhaustive list, and any determination of whether content violates these guidelines shall be made in the sole discretion of Article Zone 7.
Content shall not be related to, be about or contain links to websites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, autosurf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs.
Content shall not promote or link to online gambling sites.
Content shall not promote the sale of term papers or student essays in any way, including but not limited to linking to websites that sell term papers, offer term papers for sale, and writing about strategies to buy or sell term papers.
Links to external sites must be relevant to the content. Affiliate links are not allowed.
You must cite all sources that were used in creating your content. Whether you refer to a statistic from a government website or quote someone after a press conference, attribution must immediately precede or follow within the content. (All content must be original, too. You can use other sources for facts and information, but you may not simply rewrite published content.) Examples:
- In a new study published in the journal Epidemiologic Reviews, scientists find that the obesity level in the United States continues to climb. At this rate, by the year 2015, 75% of American adults will be overweight and 41% will be obese.
- The Pennsylvania Game Commission reports that in 2006, of the nearly 140,000 licensed bear hunters, 3,122 bears were harvested and taken to check stations.
- According to Computer Economics, only 1.8% of corporate revenues will be used to fund IT expenses this year in North America (U.S. and Canada).
- "I think what you are going to see is us working very closely with the local CBS affiliates in all the Mountain West markets to help promote and enhance the profile of the conference and the network," Chris Bevilacqua said at the press conference.
Author/Artist - Name(s) of the person(s) who created or wrote the piece.
Page Title - The headline or title that appears on your browser window; this title should be hyperlinked to the exact web address of your source.
Site Title - The name of the website or blog.
1. Use single spaces between paragraphs - no indentation; no bullet points.
2. Use line breaks only at the end of paragraphs. The text that you copy and paste into our system should fill the width of the screen.
3. Do not use block or centered formatting for any portion of text. All text should be left-justified.
4. Limit use of bold, italicized or underlined words to highlight section headers or key points.
5. Please refrain from capitalizing all letters anywhere in your submission.

TIME’S Person of the Year for 1983 was, for the first time, not a
person. It was the personal computer (PC). Two decades and five years
later, computing and software continue to evolve and be an indispensable
part of our lives. The proliferation of technology has changed the way we live —the way we watch movies; the way we play games; the way we snap pictures; the way we listen to songs; the way we print; the way we shop; and much more. Simply put, everything around us has undergone or is still undergoing a profound change.
On the flip side, technology does not change how we do things; it only changes whom we pay for the service. For instance, we still watch movies on TV much the same way, even though the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) took off with a bang in 1994.
